Getting to Main Stage
The SwissTech Convention Center (STCC) is located just an hour’s walk from the heart of Lausanne, and the area around it has been designed with the access of pedestrians in mind. Head south from the city center and walk along Parc Louis Borget, whilst enjoying the splendid views of Lake Geneva.
With 500 bike parking spaces, and a 20-bike self-service station, the STCC features well designed bicycle links with the Lausanne-Morges bicycle rental network. It takes just 20 minutes to get to the STCC by bike from the city of Lausanne.
By Train & Metro
Switzerland is well-served by an efficient railway network, making it a great public transport option. After arriving at Lausanne station, to get to the STCC take the M2 metro line for one stop to Lausanne-Flon, then change to the M1 line and ride the train for nine stops until the EPFL metro station. The station for the École Polytechnique Fédéral de Lausanne (EPFL) is situated just outside the STCC.
The city of Lausanne sits not far from both the Geneva and Zurich airports, which share numerous connections to destinations across the world. It takes about 45 minutes to get from the Geneva airport to Lausanne by either car or train, and about 2.5 hours from the Zurich airport. There are frequent train connections available from either airport.
